Pay it forward
I just lost my cell phone. And I sent a text message to it asking for whoever found it (if it was found) to give me a call so I could get it from the person. I got a text message back that said it was found, and that the person would be at college library at 6 and I could pick it up. I went and picked it up, and thanked him a lot for getting it, and making sure I got it back. He said no problem, and as I was walking away, he called out to me, "pay it forward."
I smiled and gave him a thumbs up, however I had never heard that phrase before--except for a movie that came out a couple years ago that seemed to me like a bad chick flick--so I started to think about what the words actually mean, and I like it.
So, now I guess I'll pay it forward next time I have the oportunity.
